Back at Dry Bar the venue is filling up with a combination of fans and, what every band wants to see in the crowd, In The City delegates. They are all waiting to see Carlis Star, one of the hotly tipped bands of this year. They don’t disappoint and play an excellent set. It’s a refreshing change to hear a band who sound like nothing that is out there at the moment. They play perfect indie pop with wonderful melody and hints of The Beach Boys in their harmonies. If all goes well this should be the sound of summer 2008.
